In Orthodoxy, Chesterton tells the personal story of how he came to believe in Christianity. In this much later book, he tells the story of how the world came to faith. He has converted to the Catholic faith by the time of TEM. In the Plan of This Book and Ch 1, Chesterton sets the world scene for the man called Jesus by going all the way back to cavemen.
